Ryan popped the question on Mother’s Day when both of their parents were in town from Chicago. Rachel kinda thought he was acting a little strange but really didn’t think anything of it. Inside Ryan was so nervous and couldn’t wait to just get it out there! In front of their families Ryan serenaded Rachel with an original song and asked her to marry him! Can you even imagine? I thought that stuff only happened in the movies!! I might have died! They cried, they laughed, she said yes! He gave her the most beautiful engagement ring with a family diamond passed down to him. Just wait until you see the photos! Afterward they celebrated with their families and Ryan guzzled most of a  bottle of champagne (he needed to take he edge off after being so nervous! I don’t blame him!) Rachel & Ryan are tying the knot at the Lincoln Zoo in Chicago where they are from this summer:) They liked the idea of having their engagement photos done in CO where they live now. We had a gorgeous evening and I absolutely love how their photos turned out! We started at Chataqua in Boulder and ended up on top of Flagstaff. I’m so happy to have captured this exciting time in their lives and wish them all the best!!
