Nic & Kayla met as students at Colorado University and we thought it would be quite fitting to go back to where it all began to shoot their engagement photos! Both being alumni and now living in Florida, they hold a special place in their hearts for Boulder, Colorado! Nic proposed to Kayla in March with a GORGEOUS sapphire engagement ring! He had the whole thing planned out in his head. . . and in reality it didn’t go as smoothly has he had envisioned! But when does it ever? Nic you’re not the only one! As a bird decided to do its business nearby (not so romantic) they relocated and sat down by the water. Just as he had asked her to marry him a manatee decided to grace them with its presence! (Obviously this is happening in Florida people, NOT Colorado!) SO, even better than you could’ve imagined, right Nic!? How incredible! The manatee swam right up to them and stayed right by their side. That has to be some sort of good luck charm right there! She said yes, their friends snapped some pictures and the rest is history:)

These two are so sweet together and I’m so happy to have been able to meet them and capture these awesome pics for them to have to look back on this fun time in their lives:) Here’s to many more amazing moment in your future! Congrats to you!
