Zach lead Jeanette through all of her favorite places in Nashville using clues to ask her to marry him! Her last clue lead her to him and the rest is history! These two met through mutual friends and fell head over heels for each other. They currently reside in Nashville and are planning their wedding there but really wanted something different for their engagement photos. Zach contacted me about shooting their engagement session here in Colorado and expressed how much they wanted a snowy day:) Well as all of us know that live here in Colorado our weather is so unpredictable! Of course we had snow all over the ground for weeks this year, but it just happened to be 50+ degrees the entire week before they had planned to come out. The snow had melted and we were all experiencing spring fever! The day we were scheduled to shoot it was 60 degrees in Boulder and no snow to be found! We changed our plans from shooting in Boulder to driving just 45 minutes west into Rocky Mountain National Park.  I had the windows down as I was winding through the canyon up to Estes Park. When we met, the clouds had started to roll in and it was lightly sprinkling. Great. . . rain. NOT what we had in mind. We drove up to the park, spotting a few elk on the way and wound our way through the park. The first spot we jumped out at was a gorgeous mountain forrest and what do you know. . . the rain had turned into a wonderful, dreamy snowfall!! We were all amazed at how gorgeous it was and Zach & Jeanette were so thrilled! The longer we shot and the higher we climbed into the park, the harder the snow began to fall. It literally turned into a perfect winter wonderland! I think they wished it so hard to snow. . . that the weather had no choice but to cooperate:) I’m so glad to have met these two and see how genuine their love is for each other! They are both so considerate of each other and so lovely to be around. We had a great time exploring the park and getting some pretty awesome shots (if I do say so myself!). Thank you Zach & Jeanette for allowing me to capture this amazing time in your life! I cannot wait to see pics from your wedding!!!
