Leyton is 3!!

My little Leyton turned 3 on April 20th! What the heck?! Where has the time gone and why so fast? I remember like it was yesterday anxiously awaiting his arrival and now 3 years have gone by already and he’s grown into the most awesome kid! Every step in a kids life is so fun to see, but at this age he’s really becoming his own self:) He started preschool last week and I’ll have to admit I was a little nervous about how he would do when we dropped him off. To my surprise he was like, “I got it MOM! Im good, see ya in a few hours, ok?” No crying, barely even looked back! He did allow us to give him a hug and kiss before we were shoo’d out the door. Then I burst into tears! I was just so proud of him for being so brave and so big! (Secretly I wish they had a webcam in the classroom. . . ok kidding. . . ok, not really!)

He’s becoming such a fun kid to do stuff with and he is a GREAT helper. He loves to be put in charge of anything and he’ll get the job done! Especially when he’s out workin’ with Dad. He has his own pair of work gloves and work boots that he puts on almost every time he goes outside. He’s a great snuggler, loves to watch Winnie The Pooh, loves reading books, playing with his tractors, crawling around on the floor with his brother, digging in the dirt, driving his power wheels, eating pizza (pepperoni to be specific!), playing with his grandparents, and he’s just darn good at being a kid! What a life this guy has! I can’t wait to see how he grows up and what else he becomes interested in (not too fast though!) For now we’ll enjoy being 3!!
