Shanon & Shawn Are Married! | A Longmont, CO Wedding

I hope everyone has been enjoying this holiday season so far and is having fun with friends and family! I have a lovely wedding on the blog today of two pretty amazing people! Shanon & Shawn are two of the most happy and genuine people ever! When I first met Shanon she was ear to ear smiles the entire time and such a friendly person to chat with! She was so excited about her upcoming wedding and giddy with excitement. She told me they wanted to have a night that the two of them as well as their guests would never forget. . . and that is exactly what they did! They chose The St Vrain to get married which just so happens to be one of my very favorite venues! The ladies all got pampered as they sipped on champagne on wedding day and the guys hung out and played games. The St Vrain not only has a gorgeous area for the girls to get ready in but also has the coolest spot for the guys which sometimes gets overlooked (sorry guys!). As it was nearing time for their First Look, they also planned to share private vows with one another before their ceremony. It was one of the coolest moments to be a part of. I felt truly honored to be there to capture this very private exchange and couldn’t keep my emotions in check. . . yes ,cried and usual! After they were able to embrace each other and share this moment the nerves settled and we had a great time with their bridal party and got some great photos.

Their ceremony was heartfelt and funny. They cried, they laughed (a lot!) and even their pup was able to be a part of it! After they were pronounced husband and wife their guests we treated to an open bar and yummy stations for dinner. A mac and cheese bar. . . um, yes please! A super fun photo booth, thoughtful speeches, wonderful first dances and an all out dance party followed dinner. When the night was nearing and end guests sent off the couple under sparklers and cheered for the newlyweds!
