Caitlin & Brett | Weins Ranch Wedding - Sarah Hill Photography

Caitlin and Brett have known each other since high school and can now officially call themselves Mr. & Mrs. Johnson. Last Saturday they said their vows to one another in a gorgeous grove of trees at Weins Ranch. The day was nothing short of a typical Colorado day! The sun was out in full force, the air nice and crisp, the fall colors making their appearance. We even got the little rain scare. . . which happens at literally every wedding. . . but it held off as it always does and didn’t damper a thing. Caitlin and her girls enjoyed themselves all morning getting ready together and spending some quality girl time before Caitlin became a Mrs. Brett and his guys took the morning to play bags and catch up telling jokes and being only gentleman when I showed up:) Caitlin’s best girlfriends wore the most beautiful dresses in shades of purple that complimented the gorgeous fall colors. As their friends and family took their seats and Caitlin and her father walked down the aisle the sun peeked through the trees and casted a glow over the ceremony. The officiant started off by recognizing Caitlin’s grandparents who are in their 90’s and were perched in the front row. She told us all that they were celebrating their 71st wedding anniversary that very weekend and what an admiral couple they were to show us just what true love and marriage is all about. Caitlin is so very close to her grandparents and even named her Grandma as her flower girl. How sweet is that!? The ceremony was heartfelt and warm. As they tied their hands together and sealed their union with a kiss the crowd cheered and they were announced husband and wife! It was a beautiful celebration right afterwards! Dining and dancing in the loft of an old barn with gorgeous decor of dark purples, twinkle lights and stunning florals by Hana Styled Designs.
