I feel like its been awhile since I’ve shared a family session with you all here on the blog and what better way to break the drought than these cuties!? Katherine and Neil live in Golden with their two kiddos Landon and Morgan. I’ve known Katherine for a long time since her and my hubby when to high school together. It’s been really fun seeing her family grow and catching up once and a while for some new photos:)

We decide to meet near the creek in downtown Golden and I love the spot we found. Gorgeous scenery and an area where the kids could play and wade in the water and the occasional tuber passing by!

It’s very important to me to capture families as they are and get the in-between moments that make that certain time in your lives very special. These guys embraced having fun by the water and made for some awesome family pics!
